The company reported that the shutdown was communicated to consumers in advance and that the supply was restored in the late afternoon of the same day. In Itapiranga, merchant Gidelias Paz reported difficulties receiving payments during the period without power, due to the lack of internet connection. He also said that he needed to increase bread production to serve the population, as other bakeries had their operations affected. ? Housewife Paloma Magalhães stated that she managed to organize herself after receiving notice about the shutdown. She stored water before the outage to face the period without power. "We froze a lot of water because, as we were warned in advance, we had time to plan. Will it be hot? It will, but we are prepared, with water and a full water tank. If needed, there is water for the children to cool off", he stated. Despite the return of service, traders reported losses and residents faced difficulties with the heat during the period without power. New shutdowns According to Âmbar Energia, new scheduled shutdowns are planned for Itacoatiara: Wednesday (29): Comunidade Novo Remanso, from 8am to 2pm; Thursday (30): Vila de Lindóia, from 8am to 1pm, and Novo Remanso, from 8:30am to 1pm; August 7: Comunidade Novo Remanso, from 8am to 12pm.
