Juiz de Fora hosts the first Sausage Festival, illustrative photo Disclosure The first edition of the Sausage Festival will be held between the 15th and 19th of July, at Praça do Bom Pastor, in Juiz de Fora. The event will bring together artisanal butchers from the city and region to value the tradition of local production, in addition to offering gastronomic and cultural attractions with free entry. ? According to the organization, the objective of the festival is to give visibility to local traders and bring the public closer to the producers responsible for keeping a tradition of Minas Gerais gastronomy alive. Programming From Wednesday to Friday (17th), the festival will be held from 5pm to 10pm. On Saturday (18) and Sunday (19), the program starts at 12pm and continues until 10pm. ? Exhibition of artisanal butchers: eight local establishments will present artisanal sausages with different flavors, recipes and production techniques. The public will be able to discover, taste and buy the products. ? Live music and cultural performances: musical attractions will liven up the event during the five days of programming.
