The seabirds were undergoing treatment at the Marine Animal Recovery Center at the Federal University of Rio Grande (Cram/Furg). There, they were treated intensively with depetrolization, hydration and food. Now, 45 days later, they are ready to return to the wild. ? During the release process, the penguins were placed in boxes and transported by vessel to the high seas, where they were released to return to the wild. In June, the birds were found stranded, suffering from hypothermia, anemia and dehydration.
