The crime took place shortly after noon on Saturday (18), on Rua da Raposa, close to Praça da Matriz, in Santa Inês. Nobody was injured. ? Security camera footage shows that one of the robbers arrived on foot and entered the butcher shop pretending to be a customer (See the video above). He ordered a product and went to the back of the establishment. Upon noticing the action, the owner removed a gold chain he was wearing and hid it. Shortly afterwards, the accomplice arrived on a motorcycle, entered the scene wearing a helmet and announced the robbery. The criminals captured the owner of the establishment and three other people, including his wife. A gold chain worn by the woman was stolen. Upon leaving, the robbers had difficulty opening the establishment's door, which closes automatically. During the movement, one of them fired his weapon. Despite the victims being close and the gun being pointed inside the butcher shop, no one was hit. After the robbery, one of them ran away and the other left on a motorcycle. The pair went the wrong way along Rua da Raposa, towards Praça da Matriz. The Municipal Public Security Secretariat reported that Municipal Guard agents do not use firearms. According to the agency, the guards have already undergone weapons training and also undergo psychological assessments before starting to work armed. The Military Police carry out searches to identify and locate the robbers. It is suspected that they are not residents of Santa Inês. The Civil Police are also investigating the case.
