Place where works on the UFJF veterinary clinic are taking place Carolina de Paula/UFJF The Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) has started work on the future veterinary teaching clinic on the main campus. The work began on July 6th and, in this initial phase, includes the assembly of the construction site, temporary water and electricity installations and the installation of siding. The project will be built in sector H, close to the faculties of pharmacy, nursing and dentistry. The new space will have 2,255.52 m² of built area, with a two-story building that will house laboratories, a veterinary teaching clinic and an energy substation. ? The execution of the work was carried out by the company Zaquieu Arquitetura e Construção Ltda. Last year, g1 showed that the institution had opened the bidding. According to UFJF, the contractual deadline for completion is 720 days, with delivery expected by October 2028. When it comes into operation, the structure should expand the practical activities of the veterinary medicine course, in addition to strengthening the teaching, research and extension actions developed by the university.
