He stopped on the side of the road, but the fire took over the truck.

The driver managed to detach the cabin and park it further forward. The Fire Department was called to fight the flames. The cause of the fire is still unknown. The incident happened at around 1:15 am, at km 66. At 5:40 am, traffic continued with only one lane open towards the North Coast due to work to combat the flames, which had not yet been controlled at the time. According to the ViaSul concessionaire, lanes 2, 3 and the shoulder remain blocked, but there is no record of congestion.
