JHC left Maceió City Hall on April 4 to contest the 2026 elections. Until the publication of this report, however, he had not informed which position he intends to run for in the October election. According to the calendar of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), electoral propaganda on the streets and on the internet will only be allowed from August 16th. "The electoral connotation arises from the communicative set formed by the image, the name, the party identification and the territorial projection. For this reason, the order must fall on the current visual configuration documented in the records. Once the contested set is decharacterized, there will be no impediment to the circulation of the bus", stated the judge in the decision.
