"Three customers at my store have already been fined. It is very difficult, especially for the elderly, to have to stop the car on the other side of the avenue, at Praça Olímpica, and cross all these lanes. Even more so with the traffic signals remaining closed for so little time for pedestrians", said manager Lucilene Maia. Businesspeople advocate the creation of loading and unloading areas to facilitate access to commerce.
