Police seize Jaguar with load of cancer medicines The medicines found in the Jaguar of Stefano Montovani Fernandes, arrested this Tuesday (21) during Operation Metastasis, were stolen on July 8, in Santo Antônio de Posse (SP). The car was seized at Stefano's house, in Santo André. TV Globo found that the police arrived at the origin of the cargo after tracking the medicines and identifying that they belonged to the batch taken in the robbery recorded in the city in the interior of São Paulo. Stefano is identified by Civil Police investigations as the head of an interstate scheme to steal oncology and immunosuppressant medications. According to the Capital's Cargo Robbery and Theft Police Station (DRFC-Cap), the gang had the support of the Third Comando Puro (TCP) faction, moved around R$33 million in 1 year and used shell companies to put the stolen products back on the market.
