Kauê remained hospitalized in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 12 days, but did not survive his injuries. The Civil Police registered the incident as a suspicious death and the teenager's body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Marília, where it will undergo tests to determine the exact cause of death.
