According to the Pernambuco Department of Education (SEE), the management of the teaching unit performed first aid and immediately activated the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). The young man received treatment from the medical team, but did not survive. In a statement, SEE lamented the student's death and informed that it is providing all necessary support to family members and the school community. The state agency provided a psychologist and a multidisciplinary team to provide assistance at the school. Due to the student's death, classes at the unit were suspended this Tuesday (28) and Wednesday (29). According to the secretariat, the activities will be compensated later, so that there is no pedagogical harm to the students.
