The case happened this Wednesday (22), at the institution's Campus I, and no one was injured. ? The flames were contained by UEPB employees before the arrival of the Fire Department, who were called to respond to the incident. During the action, two employees needed medical attention, but were subsequently released and did not present any health risks. According to the coordination of the Physiotherapy course, the suspension of services is expected to affect between 70 and 150 people per day. Services were interrupted due to the presence of soot in the environment, which is part of the Physiotherapy School Clinic. In a note, UEPB informed that the room remains isolated and that technical teams from the Dean of Infrastructure (Proinfra) are monitoring the situation to carry out the necessary procedures and repairs on site. The university also informed that the resumption of services is scheduled for Monday (27), after the cleaning and adaptation of the space has been completed.
