The return of the runners will be on Avenida Itamar Franco and then on Avenida Brasil, near the Manoel Honório neighborhood. According to the city hall, the bus lines that pass through the central lane along Rio Branco will follow the side lanes during the race. During the assembly of the structures and throughout the competition, some of the lines will also make small detours to access the route. The intersections along the avenue will have temporary closures during the passage of athletes. Traffic is expected to be fully reopened at 12pm. Transport and traffic agents from the Urban Mobility Secretariat (SMU) will work to ensure the organization of the flow and the safety of competitors, but the city council's guidance is that drivers seek alternative routes.
