'Olhares da Alma' exhibition celebrates female protagonism and culture in the region The 'Olhares da Alma' exhibition brings together 13 paintings by artist Vivalda Lacerda at the Dr. Phelippe Daou Cultural Space, at the headquarters of Rede Amazônica, in the South Zone of Macapá. The works portray black, indigenous and riverside women and highlight different histories and female identities. Born in Santana, the artist says that the exhibition was born from the desire to share work developed from her classroom experience. "The idea is to show female protagonism and showcase my work as an art teacher, inspiring my students and the community. My works celebrate the stories of strong, sensitive, riverside, black and indigenous women", says Lacerda. ?
