Municipal Public Library Professor Henriqueta da Costa Marotti Ana Chaffin - Social Communication The Henriqueta Marotti Municipal Public Library, located in the mountain district of Glicério (on Rua Lauro Gonçalves Pacheco), will host the next editions of the "Mornings with Henriqueta" project. Released by the Municipal Department of Culture, the calendar of free meetings will always take place at 9:30 am, with confirmed dates for July 31st, August 28th, September 25th, October 30th and November 27th. Open to the entire population, the project aims to encourage the habit of reading, enhance the region's cultural manifestations and strengthen integration between residents. The action is part of the Department of Culture's decentralization strategy, which aims to expand the offer of cultural activities beyond the central areas, reaching the districts and the interior of the municipality to democratize access to culture. With a history that spans decades, the library underwent a complete revitalization led by the Department of Culture in 2024. After the restoration works, the place resumed its activities with a constant program, consolidating itself as an essential space for the training of new readers and a traditional point of community coexistence.
