Pregnant woman and husband die in collision between motorcycle and truck on BR-316, in Zé Doca A pregnant woman and her husband died after the motorcycle they were riding hit head-on with a truck, on Saturday night (25), in Zé Doca (MA). The accident occurred around 9:20 pm, on Avenida Stanley Fortes Batista, along BR-316. The victims were identified as Abimael Nascimento Mendonça, aged 30, and Samara Souza da Silva, aged 20. Abimael was riding the motorcycle, and Samara, who was pregnant, was riding pillion. The pregnancy was around seven months, according to family members. ? The circumstances of the accident are being investigated. Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the truck had attempted to overtake in a prohibited area and hit the motorcycle head-on.
