Fernando Sirchia, councilor in Assis (SP), relates death threats to the activity of the Fuel CPI TV TEM/Reproduction Teams from the Civil Police and Scientific Police also carried out an inspection of the Operational Control Center (CCO), linked to the Government and Administration Secretariat of Assis. The objective of the action was to verify the integrity of the video surveillance system and clarify inconsistencies in images used during the investigation. Four cell phones were seized for forensic examination. Three people were previously arrested on suspicion of involvement in the case, including the then Secretary of Planning, Works and Services, Leandro Gabrigna, who was dismissed by the city hall shortly after his arrest. The arrest of career civil servants Matheus Henrique da Cunha Felício and Wagner Fernando Eugênio Binati, who were dismissed from the leadership positions they held at Assis City Hall due to the investigations, were also ordered by the courts. Leandro Gabrigna was dismissed from his position as Planning Secretary of Assis (SP), after his arrest during a Civil Police operation Assis City Hall/Disclosure Investigation The Civil Police has been investigating the case since March, when Fernando Sirchia was captured by an armed man inside his own house. During the action, the criminal stated that he had received an order to kill the councilor and his wife and said that the parliamentarian should "keep his mouth shut" and "stop being an X9 (snitch)", as Sirchia stated, days later, in the gallery of the Chamber of Councilors itself. Assis City Hall (SP): Secretary of Planning was dismissed this Monday (13), after arrest during a Civil Police operation; two other department heads were also dismissed Prefeitura de Assis/Disclosure According to TV TEM, the Civil Police's main line of investigation is that high-ranking people in the municipal administration may have participated in the crime, treated by investigators not as a simple robbery, but as an act of intimidation against the parliamentarian. Assis Civil Police Station (SP) TV TEM/Reproduction Councilor relates threats to the Fuel CPI In an interview with TV TEM, Fernando Sirchia stated that he believes that the threats are related to the work of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) established in the Assis City Council to investigate alleged irregularities in the supply of the city hall's fleet. He is president of the commission. According to the councilor, the commission, popularly called the Fuel CPI, identified signs of officially registered supplies, but which had not been carried out. "The CPI discovered a scheme through the supply system. Many of the supplies that were on paper did not happen. All that happened was the exchange of city hall resources for money for the operators," he told TEM TV. Assis City Hall dismisses two department heads after secretary's arrest Still according to Sirchia, the investigation found situations considered incompatible with the system's records, such as vehicles that were undergoing maintenance in another city appearing to be fueled in Assis, in addition to the use of passwords from drivers who were working in other locations or even on vacation. "There was a Health van stopped for maintenance in Marília, but it was refueled in Assis. Van was refueled with a driver's ticket that was in operation in Santa Casa. Van was used with a driver's ticket that was on vacation," he said, on TV TEM. The councilor also stated that the surveys indicate that the alleged irregularities may have occurred over a longer period of time and that people who were administratively investigated in previous administrations began to occupy commanding positions in the supply system in the current administration. "Deeping deeper, we realized that the scheme is not new today. Whoever responded to the administrative process became the manager of this fuel scheme in the current municipal administration. The scheme took on other proportions and it was necessary to open the CPI for us to investigate", he declared.

Remember the case Fernando Sirchia was captured by an armed man inside his own house on the afternoon of March 23rd. He filed a police report, reporting that the suspect introduced himself as a researcher at a college in order to get in touch with the councilor. Suspicious of the approach, Sirchia began filming the man with his cell phone. At that moment, the suspect pulled out a revolver, announced the robbery, cocked the weapon and stated that he had received orders to kill the councilor and his wife. Upon realizing he was being recorded, the criminal took the victim's cell phone and fled. The councilor was not injured, registered a police report and remained away from the City Council for around 30 days, citing concern for his family's safety.
