Marcos Rogério da Silva Brito has a degree in Law and Journalism, as well as a master's degree in Public Administration. In 2018 he was elected senator for Rondônia. He left the position to compete for the governor's seat. In 2018 he ran for office but did not win. Other candidacies approved at the convention: Delegate Rodrigo Camargo (Podemos) for vice-governor; Bruno Bolsonaro Scheid (PL) and Fernando Máximo (União Brasil) for the Senate. During the officialization of his candidacy, Marcos Rogério highlighted the economic potential of Rondônia and stated that he intends to govern with vision and responsibility.
