Palmas tests security totems with facial recognition and panic button Disclosure/City Hall of Palmas Palmas began testing a new security system with monitoring totems connected to Central 190. The experimental project uses two pieces of equipment to monitor strategic points and speed up the activation of the Military Police (PM). According to Palmas City Hall, the tests began on July 7th, and the evaluation should last 90 days. Currently, the devices are installed at Palmas Bus Station and Avenida Siqueira Campos, in the southern region of the Capital. ?
