The measure was adopted after an expert study carried out on the university's premises. The survey highlighted the need for adjustments to guarantee the health and safety of workers, students and other users. The recommendation establishes a period of 180 days for UFPB to implement and prove the adoption of 12 actions. Among the planned measures are: Installation of physical barriers and maintenance of doors and fences to prevent cats from accessing classrooms, laboratories, administrative areas, pantries, bathrooms and other internal environments; Removal of power points near buildings, with possible maintenance only in controlled external areas; Creation of formal protocols for cleaning and disinfecting places contaminated by feces, urine and other biological waste.
