Lorena Police Station (SP) Reproduction/TV Vanguarda A 35-year-old man was shot after an argument with a neighbor, on Thursday night (9), in the Santa Edwiges neighborhood, in Lorena (SP). The suspect was identified by the Civil Police, but had not been arrested until the incident was recorded. According to the police report, military police were called at around 8:20 pm to respond to a firearm shooting incident on Rua Ataíde Vilela de Oliveira Marcondes. When they arrived at the scene, the agents found the victim's family members already arranging for the rescue to be taken to the Lorena Emergency Room. ? According to the report, when he arrived home from work on Thursday, he found his neighbor in front of the residence and the two started arguing again. Shortly afterwards, a man arrived at the scene in a black Fiat Palio car and started a conversation with the victim. According to the police report, during the dialogue, the man pulled out a firearm and fired two shots from inside the vehicle. One of the shots grazed the victim in the back of the head and the other went through the abdomen. The report states that the victim claimed to have known the suspect for several years and recognized him through a photograph presented by the police. Officers searched the area, but the suspect was not located. Security cameras were also searched nearby, however, according to the police, there was no equipment that could have recorded the action. Forensics were called to the location and the Legal Medical Institute (IML). The case was registered as attempted murder at the Lorena Police Station and will be investigated by the Civil Police.
