Man arrested for raping teenager in Pará A man was arrested red-handed on Thursday (30), suspected of raping his sister-in-law, a 14-year-old teenager, in Oeiras do Pará, in the northeast of the state. According to the Civil Police, the victim was at her sister's house to help her recover from a cesarean section when the sexual violence occurred. According to the police, the teenager's mother contacted the Civil Police Station on Thursday morning to report the case. The crime would have occurred during the early hours of Wednesday (29). After registering the incident, Civil and Military police teams located the suspect and arrested him in the act. He was taken to the Oeiras do Pará Civil Police Station. According to the Civil Police, the teenager was subjected to specialized listening in the Lilás Room, conducted by a social assistance professional. During the procedure, she reported to the team the dynamics of the violence. The corporation also reported that the person being investigated is facing other legal proceedings, including one for non-compliance with urgent protective measures involving another victim, in addition to criminal actions for other crimes. After the arrest report was drawn up in flagrante delicto, the police authority represented the court in favor of converting the detention into preventive detention.
