Search and seizure warrants were carried out in 14 neighborhoods in the BAEP region. One person died and five others were arrested red-handed this Thursday morning (30) during an operation by the Military Police and the Public Ministry of São Paulo (MPSP), in Hortolândia (SP), to combat robberies and theft of motorcycles in the region. In total, 13 search and seizure warrants were carried out in the city and also in Sumaré. According to the PM, all of those investigated had previous convictions for the crimes of robbery and reception. The operation, which was named "Zero Grau", is still ongoing. During the execution of one of the warrants, shots were exchanged and the suspect was killed, according to police information. The suspect was arrested for possession of a 32 caliber revolver with the number shaved off and three rounds of ammunition, found hidden in a dresser.
