President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) lamented this Sunday (19) the death of Matheus Augusto Azevedo, younger brother of senator Cleitinho (Republicanos-MG). Matheus died this Saturday (18), at the age of 30, in Divinópolis (MG), due to complications caused by leukemia. On a social network, the President of the Republic said he was appalled by Matheus' death and expressed solidarity with family and friends. "I want to express my dismay at the death of Matheus Augusto Azevedo, which occurred yesterday afternoon in Divinópolis. To his brothers – senator Cleitinho, state deputy Eduardo and former mayor Gleidson Azevedo –, I leave my condolences, which I extend to all their family and friends", stated Lula.
