According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the accident occurred at km 47.9 of the highway, near the district of Realeza. According to preliminary information from the PRF, the crash happened on a curve. The rear of the trailer hit the front side of the truck. With the impact, the load of stones carried by the truck spread across the road. ? He received initial care from the Samu teams and was taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Manhuaçu. His health status was not reported. The incident was attended to by the PRF. Support teams worked to remove the vehicles and cargo that was scattered on the highway. Traffic was completely closed for about an hour. Afterwards, one of the lanes was opened, and, until the closing of this report, the flow continued on half a lane in the stop and go system, while removal work continues at the site.
