IFNMG selects teachers for the energy area in five cities

IFNMG Campus in Teófilo Otoni IFNMG The Federal Institute of the North of Minas Gerais (IFNMG) is accepting applications for the selection of teachers who will teach subjects related to photovoltaic solar energy, maintenance of electric vehicles and automation for energy efficiency. The opportunities are for the municipalities of Pirapora, Januária, Montes Claros, Teófilo Otoni and Capelinha. Registration can be made until July 23rd, using an electronic form. Teachers will work in the Initial and Continuing Training (FIC) courses of the EnergIFE Program. The minimum training required varies depending on the discipline chosen by the candidate. ? The workload will be up to 16 hours per week, and payment will be calculated based on the hours actually worked. Classes will be in person and will take place in the evening, generally from Monday to Thursday, from 7pm to 10pm. Some activities may also be held on Fridays. The selection will be a single stage. Initially, it will be checked whether the candidate meets the minimum training required. Then, the classification criteria will be applied, which total up to 100 points: academic training: up to 20 points experience in teaching, research or extension projects: up to 9 points scientific production: up to 14 points; administrative work: up to 12 points professional experience: up to 40 points training in the area: up to 5 points. Courses, subjects and locations of activity The Photovoltaic Systems Installer course has a total course load of 160 hours. Opportunities are distributed between Pirapora, Januária and Capelinha, according to each discipline: Basic electricity applied to photovoltaic systems — 28 hours Fundamentals of photovoltaic solar energy — 16 hours Analysis of photovoltaic systems projects — 16 hours Work safety measures applied to the photovoltaic sector — 8 hours Assembly of the physical structure and installation of the electrical structure of photovoltaic generation systems — 48 hours Commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic systems — 36 hours Innovation and anomalies in the battery and charge control system — 16 hours Maintenance planning and repair feasibility — 16 hours Preventive and corrective maintenance — 32 hours Workshop management — 24 hours In Montes Claros, the opportunities are for the Professional course in Automation and Control for Energy Efficiency, with the following components:

Fundamentals of electricity — 8 hours Distributed energy generation, energy efficiency and technological prospecting — 32 hours Integration and communication of autonomous elements — 24 hours Application of autonomous equipment — 16 hours Installation practices in automation systems — 40 hours Fault analysis and maintenance in autonomous systems — 40 hours.
