Amazônia Que Eu Quero 2026: panel will discuss how the use of technology influences choices Manaus will host, this Thursday (23), the last panel of Amazônia Que Eu Quero (AMQQ) 2026. The meeting will be held from 2pm to 4pm, at the Vasco Vasques Convention Center, and will bring together experts to discuss the subtheme "Democracy in the digital age: how do new technologies influence your vote?". Promoted by the Fundação Rede Amazônica, the debate is part of the Digital Summit Experience (DSX) 2026 program and ends the cycle of panels held in the capitals of the Legal Amazon. The proposal is to bring society closer to topics that are increasingly present in everyday life, such as artificial intelligence, algorithms, digital security, disinformation and the impact of new technologies on the formation of public opinion. The panel will be broadcast live on g1 Amazonas, allowing the public to follow the discussions from anywhere. The mediation will be by the journalist and coordinator of Amazônia Que Eu Quero, Ruthiene Bindá, who highlights that the objective of the meeting is to help the population understand how technologies influence access to information and, consequently, the decisions made by citizens. ? The panel will include the participation of the assistant judge of the Presidency of the Regional Electoral Court of Amazonas (TRE-AM) and president of the Commission to Combat Disinformation, Mônica Câmara do Carmo; the director of the Higher School of Technology at the State University of Amazonas (UEA), specialist in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, Jucimar Maia da Silva Jr.; and the lawyer, professor and president of the International Relations Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Amazonas Section (OAB-AM), Helso do Carmo Ribeiro Filho. Throughout the meeting, experts will discuss how new technologies have been transforming the way people access information, interact on social networks and participate in democratic life. The debate will also address topics such as artificial intelligence, algorithms, disinformation and digital security, seeking to bring these discussions closer to the reality of the population. The activity will bring together students from Faculdade La Salle, who will participate in group dynamics to build proposals related to society's challenges in the digital age. The initiative encourages dialogue, the exchange of experiences and reflection on topics that impact the population's daily lives. The contributions made by the participants will be included in the project's Solutions Notebook.
