Kim Marques is one of the creators of the festival Disclosure More than 30 brega artists from Pará participate, this Sunday (26), in the first edition of Fest Belém, at Complexo Ver-o-Rio, in Belém. With free entry, the event starts at 6pm and brings together names that marked different phases of the genre, from the 1980s to the present. "We want to show the history of this very important segment of our culture. In 2025, Belém received symbolic recognition from UN Tourism as "World Capital of Brega", in reference to the importance of the genre for the city's cultural identity. The festival's proposal is to dialogue with this recognition through musical performances and audiovisual recordings of the local scene.
