Teachers, students and grandparents in a round song Collection The FAVOO School promoted, on July 24th, the Meeting with Grandparents, an initiative held in celebration of Grandparents' Day. The program brought together students from Early Childhood Education, the 1st year of Elementary School and their grandparents in an environment prepared to recognize the importance of family ties and the participation of different generations in the education of children. During the event, participants visited an exhibition of old objects shared by families, an activity that made it possible to rescue memories, stories and traditions. The children also performed presentations specially prepared for the occasion, providing moments of interaction and appreciation of the experiences lived by their grandparents, bringing everyday school life closer to the history of each family. The closing was marked by a moment of celebration. Guests were welcomed with iced tea and cookies prepared by the children themselves, in a gesture of welcome and gratitude that symbolized the affection dedicated to those who play an important role in family life and in the construction of values. For the coordinator of Early Childhood Education at FAVOO School, Elizabet de Souza Araujo Arruda, actions like this reinforce the institution's commitment to education that values ??human relationships and the participation of the school community. "We believe that educating goes far beyond the classroom. When we bring families closer to school, especially grandparents, we strengthen bonds that contribute significantly to children's development. Grandparents carry stories, values and experiences that enrich childhood and help build each child's identity. The Meeting with Grandparents was designed to provide moments of affection, listening and coexistence between generations. Seeing the emotion on the grandparents' faces and the children's joy in sharing this moment confirms that we are on the right path: an education that values human relationships, respect for life stories and the partnership between school and family." By promoting initiatives that bring families and schools closer together, Escola FAVOO reaffirms its commitment to a humanized education, based on building bonds, valuing the history of each student and strengthening the school community. The continuity of actions like this contributes to the integral education of children and to the strengthening of relationships between different generations.
