Celebrated this year on Sunday, August 9, Father's Day promises to inject new energy into Limeira's commerce. The Commercial and Industrial Association of Limeira (ACIL) projects a growth of between 3% and 5% in sales compared to the same period of the previous year, an indication of the relevance that the date continues to have for both traders and consumers. For the president of ACIL, Dr. Valmir Martins, the date reinforces the strategic role of local commerce in the city's economy. "Father's Day is one of the most important dates of the year for retail, and the expectation of growth in sales shows the strength of our commerce. In addition to boosting the economy, this is an opportunity for store owners to get even closer to their customers and offer a differentiated service", he highlights. One of the most significant dates on the retail calendar, the occasion tends to heat up segments such as clothing, footwear, perfumery, accessories, electronics and sporting goods, in addition to the entire range of gift options. For retailers, the period also represents a valuable chance to attract new customers, strengthen relationships with already loyal customers and give an extra boost to sales. Adding to the variety of gift-giving options, consumers in Limeira have an additional attraction: the ACIL Rewarded Purchases campaign. Simply make purchases at participating stores to compete for R$10,000 in shopping vouchers, distributed in 10 prizes of R$1,000 each. The biggest difference of the promotion is the accumulation of coupons, valid until Christmas. In practice, this means that those who participate now continue to accumulate chances over the next few months, increasing their chances of being included in the following stages of the campaign. The proposal is clear: to value participating companies and transform each purchase into a new reward opportunity for the consumer. Special opening hours make shopping easier To expand shopping opportunities, Limeira stores will open extended hours on the eve of the date. On Friday, August 7th, stores are open from 9am to 9pm; on Saturday, August 8, opening hours are from 9am to 6pm. ACIL recommends that consumers take advantage of this extended period to anticipate purchases and calmly explore the options available in local stores.
