The victims are André Pereira da Silva, aged 26, and João Pereira da Silva Filho, aged 57. Two other people were seriously injured. According to the Military Police, the accident happened in the early hours of Friday (17), approximately 50 km from Colinas. His relatives, who were following close behind in the car, stopped to help him and called the municipal ambulance. The three were injured and were taken to the Araguaína Regional Hospital (HRA). One of the victims had a punctured lung and the other had a fractured pelvis, according to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP). The names were not given. The truck driver remained at the scene and was taken to the Flagrant Center for legal proceedings. There were no signs of drunkenness. The location was isolated and forensic examination was carried out. The bodies were sent to the Araguaína Legal Medicine Center for the necessary examinations.
