Technology, 24-hour monitoring and investments in infrastructure are part of the evolution of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System over the 28 years of the concession. Disclosure With 28 years of managing the Anchieta-Imigrantes System (SAI), Ecovias Imigrantes has invested more than R$11 billion in infrastructure, operational modernization, technology, road safety and user service. This effort over almost three decades has translated into structuring works and an increasingly modern and safe operation, with new features that keep emerging. In the history of the concessionaire, one of the main milestones is the construction of the descending lane of Rodovia dos Imigrantes, opened in 2002, considered one of the largest road engineering works in the country. Now, the concessionaire is moving forward with new structural projects, such as the third runway at Imigrantes, which recently obtained the Preliminary Environmental License. The project foresees a new connection between Planalto and Baixada Santista, connecting Rodovia dos Imigrantes, at km 43, to Rodovia Cônego Domênio Rangoni, at km 265 in Cubatão, increasing the operational capacity of the mountain section by 25% in total and by 145%, if we only consider the descent of heavy vehicles. The proposal also includes reversible operation, parallel emergency tunnels and an average slope of 4%, increasing safety for truck traffic. Another strategic highlight is the project to implement the Electronic Toll in the Anchieta-Imigrantes System, installed on Via Anchieta, at km 33, and on Rodovia dos Imigrantes, at km 29, in both directions. The technological solution eliminates the need for mandatory vehicle stops and integrates the system's road operation modernization process. The current toll plazas will be maintained temporarily to ensure the completion of the Train Operation and will only be removed after the definitive approval of the new model, which will represent a major technological advance in the way the system operates in situations of intense fog. In recent years, Ecovias Imigrantes has also increased investments in road engineering and conservation. Recent deliveries include the new User Service Base (SAU), inaugurated at km 46 of Via Anchieta, in Cubatão, and the modernization of the lighting in the tunnels on the North lane of Rodovia dos Imigrantes, towards São Paulo. The concessionaire also plans to complete, by 2027, the recovery of 100% of the Anchieta-Imigrantes System pavement. New structural interventions are also planned, such as the completion of geometric improvements in the curves of Via Anchieta, the implementation of a new escape ramp at km 46 of the north lane also in Anchieta, in addition to several other improvements on this highway. The concessionaire also presented projects for a new access from Alemoa to Via Anchieta and for a second access to the Port of Santos. Over the 28 years of the concession, Ecovias Imigrantes has also expanded actions aimed at road safety and user experience, with educational campaigns, operational simulations integrated with emergency agencies and initiatives such as the motorcycle accident simulator. The quality of the services provided was recognized nationally and the concessionaire was elected, for three consecutive years (2023, 2024 and 2025), the best company in customer satisfaction in the country's Highway segment by the MESC Institute, which collects reviews through Google Opinion. Since the beginning of the concession, more than 3.4 million operational services have been carried out on the system's highways, including mechanical assistance, medical assistance, traffic inspections and removals.
