Reproduction/Street View A 49-year-old man was arrested red-handed on Wednesday night (22), suspected of setting fire to his own house and threatening family members in the Parque Residencial Itaguassu neighborhood, in Aparecida (SP). According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the man allegedly set fire to a mattress inside the residence and threw burning materials towards a neighboring property, in addition to making threats against family members. The Municipal Civil Guard was called after complaints from residents. When crews arrived at the scene, they found the house on fire. The Fire Department was called and managed to control the fire. ? The suspect was arrested red-handed for the crimes of threat in the context of domestic violence and fire. Victims were advised about the possibility of requesting protective measures. The case was registered at the Aparecida Police Station. The man remained arrested and is at the disposal of Justice. The Civil Police investigates the case.
