Detran auctions 283 vehicles and scrap metal in Lorena and Roseira, with bids starting at R$ 810 Disclosure/Giordano Auctions The State Department of Traffic of São Paulo (Detran-SP) will hold, from August 3rd, an auction with 283 lots of vehicles collected in Lorena, Roseira and cities in the region for traffic violations. Of the total lots, 22 are vehicles that are preserved and ready to be driven again, including cars and motorcycles. 190 lots of scrap metal usable for dismantling and 71 scrap metal destined exclusively for recycling and smelting will also be auctioned. Registration must be made up to 48 hours before the start of the auction, via the website of the company responsible for organizing it. Bidding will also be carried out exclusively online. ? The notice gathers information such as brand, model, year of manufacture, color, engine and minimum value of each batch.

Before the auction, interested parties will be able to visit the vehicles between the 27th and 31st of July, from 9am to 12pm and from 1:30pm to 5pm, in the yards where they are stored. The visit is for visual inspection only, with no possibility of handling, testing or removing parts. Also from 10am on July 27th it will be possible to register pre-bids. If they are not outbid within the first 30 seconds of the public session, they automatically become the winning bids. Detran-SP also highlighted that the vehicles will be sold in their current condition, without warranty. Furthermore, the vehicle owner can still recover it up to one business day before the auction, as long as they pay off all outstanding debts, such as fines, removal and parking in the yard.
