Aerial view of the new DB Atacado e Varejo Distrito, which reinforces the company's strategy of offering more savings, variety and convenience to DB Supermercados customers The DB Group is advancing in the process of expanding the DB Atacado e Varejo format in Manaus and is preparing, for this Tuesday (28th), the reopening of the unit located at Avenida Rodrigo Otávio, nº 3,810, in the Japiim neighborhood, South Zone of the capital. The former DB Distrito hyper operation now operates under the Amazonense Family Wholesale model after extensive restructuring, which modernized the store, expanded service capacity and reinforced the chain's strategy of offering more savings, variety and convenience to customers in different regions of the city. Installed in one of the city's busiest areas, DB Atacado e Varejo Distrito was designed to serve both end consumers and small traders. The structure has a total area of ??14 thousand square meters and 7 thousand square meters of sales area, with 39 checkouts, eight of which are self-service, and more than 300 parking spaces, offering more comfort and practicality for purchases of different profiles and volumes. The store also brings together the main services of the Amazonense Family Wholesale model, including DB butcher shop, fruit and vegetable sector (FLV), electro, grocery store, bakery, snack bar, drinks and utilities. Furthermore, the already well-known restaurant on site gained new structure and machinery, now called “Manaô”. The unit continues to offer buffet lunch, including barbecue, soups and desserts, from 11am to 2pm. With all these services, the proposal is to provide a more complete and competitive shopping experience for residents, workers and entrepreneurs in the South Zone. According to the Director of Marketing and Expansion of Grupo DB, Gabriel Pedrosa, the conversion of the unit reinforces the success of the Atacado da Família Amazonense model and the company's expansion strategy. "We have seen excellent acceptance of this format by our customers, which brings together competitive prices, variety and a more complete shopping experience. The transformation of the Distrito unit is another step within our strategy of investing in stores that are increasingly modern, efficient and prepared to serve both families and small entrepreneurs in our region", he states. The unit will operate from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 10pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 8am to 9pm. With the modernization of the space, Grupo DB expands its presence in the South Zone and reinforces the proposal to offer a structure prepared for a high flow of customers, volume purchases and meeting the needs of Amazonian families and small entrepreneurs.
