Coca-Cola exceeds expectations in the 2nd quarter and raises guidance

Coca-Cola recorded an adjusted profit of US$ 0.97 per share in the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year, according to the balance sheet released this Tuesday, 28. The result exceeded the projection of analysts consulted by FactSet, of US$ 0.93 per share.

The American beverage giant's revenue grew 7% year-on-year and reached US$13.4 billion in the quarter. The value was also above the FactSet consensus, which predicted US$13.17 billion.

The company also raised its projections for 2026. Coca-Cola now estimates growth of 9% to 10% in adjusted earnings per share, compared to the previous forecast of an increase of between 8% and 9%.

The company also now expects an increase of approximately 5% in organic revenue throughout the year. Previously, the projection indicated growth between 4% and 5%.

At 8:10 am Brasília time, Coca-Cola shares rose 2.9% in pre-market trading in New York.
