Police looking for suspect of killing ex-girlfriend and her father The criminal police officer suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend and her father in Maxaranguape, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Norte, was arrested this Saturday (18) in the city Senador Elói de Souza, about 70 km from Natal. He was taken to the Santa Cruz Police Station before being detained. The State Secretariat for Penitentiary Administration (Seap) confirmed the suspect's arrest and reported that he was taken to the Ceará-Mirim Public Prison, the same one where he worked. The criminal police officer was already away from work on medical leave. After the crime last week, the Civil Police carried out investigations in a property related to the one investigated and found traces of blood, ammunition and cases of different calibers. Ballistic and biological materials were also collected and sent for expert analysis.
