Aracaju City Council debates PL to readjust AjuPrev Luanna Pinheiro The Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) on Public Space Concessions held, this Tuesday (7), the first meeting at the Aracaju City Council (CMA). At the meeting, parliamentarians approved the work schedule and approved the first information requests directed to municipal and federal bodies. According to the CMA, the objective of the CPI is to investigate the regularity and criteria for the occupation of public areas by commercial establishments, such as bars, restaurants and kiosks. ? The CPI will have a total period of 120 days to complete the work.

The commission is chaired by councilor Maurício Maravilha and its rapporteur is councilor Elber Batalha. The group also includes councilors Fábio Meireles, Selma França and Lúcio Flávio (incumbent), as well as Sergeant Byron and Alex Melo (substitutes). Approved requests Municipal Urban Services Company (Emsurb): Must send the complete list of all concessions given since 2021, including names of permit holders, amounts charged and any financial debts. The company will also have to explain the legal basis that allows the delivery of public spaces based only on protocols opened by the interested parties themselves. Municipal Works and Urbanization Company (Emurb): You will have to provide copies of the urban licensing for works and renovations carried out by these establishments in public areas. Superintendence of Union Heritage in Sergipe (SPU/SE): It was commissioned to detail the terms of the agreement for sharing the management of Orla de Aracaju with the municipality. After sending the requests, the bodies have 15 days to send the documentation to the Chamber.
