The PROCON/MA price survey revealed a variation of up to 724.96% in the prices of gifts for Father's Day in São Luís. Disclosure/ Procon Business in Manaus is preparing for a promising Father's Day in 2026. According to a survey carried out by the Instituto Fecomércio de Pesquisas Empresariais do Amazonas (IFPEAM), of Fecomércio-AM, 88% of consumers stated that they intend to buy gifts for the date. The survey also reveals that the majority of respondents (61%) plan to spend between R$101 and R$300, while 26% say they will spend more than R$300. Only a smaller portion, 13%, intend to spend up to R$100. The survey, carried out with more than 1,300 consumers in all urban areas of the capital, also shows that: 53% will purchase a gift, while 47% intend to pay homage two or more people, including fathers, husbands, in-laws and grandfathers. ? Another fact that reinforces the positive outlook is that 32% of consumers intend to increase spending compared to last year, mainly motivated by the desire to offer better gifts. 44% are expected to maintain the same level of investment, and only 9% plan to reduce expenses. In terms of where to buy, physical stores remain strong, chosen by 45% of consumers. However, the digital environment plays a decisive role: 50% research prices on social media before purchasing, reinforcing the need for integration between physical and online. Most sought after items Among the most sought after items are clothing, perfumes and cosmetics and men's accessories, which account for 64% of purchase intentions. The survey also points out that cash payments will be predominant, with 72% opting for cash, PIX or debit card, which should guarantee greater liquidity for retailers.
