Public competitions: find out how to read notices Competition for Civil Police delegate The competition for 3rd class Civil Police delegate offers 58 vacancies for immediate hiring and provides for the formation of a reserve list with another 174 candidates. Of the immediate vacancies, 40 are intended for broad competition, six for people with disabilities and 12 for black candidates, considered black or mixed race. In the reserve register, there are: 121 candidates from broad competition; 18 people with disabilities; 35 black candidates. The initial allowance for the position is R$22,820.23, for a 40-hour work week. The delegate's duties include coordinating investigations, instituting police inquiries, supervising the administrative activities of the Civil Police and adopting measures related to public security. The professional may also perform management, coordination and supervision functions in district, regional and specialized units of the corporation. Who can participate in the contest for delegate To compete, the candidate must present a bachelor's degree in Law issued by an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. Also required are: National Driving License; at least three years of legal or police activity; minimum age of 18 years old on the date of inauguration; regularity with electoral obligations; regularity with military obligations, in the case of men; physical and mental fitness to perform the position. The periods of legal and police activity may be added together to reach a minimum period of three years. Legal activity will only be counted when it was carried out after completing the Law course. The notice accepts, among other possibilities, the practice of law, the performance of positions or functions that require legal knowledge and the role of conciliator, mediator or arbitrator. Postgraduate courses in Law may also be used to prove legal activity, as long as they were completed after graduation. A specialization may be considered as one year of legal practice. The master's degree may be worth two years and the doctorate may be worth three years. The notice does not allow the simultaneous counting of courses or other legal activities carried out in the same period. The police activity must have been carried out in a police position in the security bodies provided for in the Federal Constitution.
