City Hall implements two new traffic lights in the central region of Araraquara Credit: Disclosure. Araraquara City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat for Security and Urban Mobility Affairs, put into operation, on the morning of this Wednesday (29), two new traffic light sets in the central region of the city. The equipment was installed at the intersections of Rua Padre Duarte (Rua 4) and Avenida Portugal and Rua Itália (Rua 7) and Avenida Espanha, after technical studies that identified the need for the measure due to the history of accidents recorded in these locations. The implementation of new traffic lights aims to increase road safety, organize the flow of vehicles and pedestrians and contribute to reducing accidents. The Secretariat advises drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians to pay extra attention in the first days of equipment operation and to respect the new signage, in order to guarantee safer traffic for everyone.
