'Circular Campina Cidade Velha' takes programming to more than 30 spaces in Belém; see attractions

For children, Circuitinho Circular promotes an educational route through Ver-o-Peso. At Casa Igara, master Francelino leads a workshop on the art of miriti. One of the main hubs of the program will be the Complexo dos Mercedários, at UFPA, with activities throughout the day. The space hosts two performances by the university's School of Music: “Violão em Chamas”, with professor Lucas Imbiriba, in the morning, and the concert “O Cantochão dos Mercedários”, in the afternoon. Exhibitions and creative economy At the Banco da Amazônia Cultural Center, the exhibitions “Workers”, by Sebastião Salgado; “Football – Banco da Amazônia National Humor Exhibition”, curated by J. Bosco and produced by Leo Dressant; “Amazonian Peoples Don’t Die, They Turn into Seeds”, by Rafael Prado; and “Floresta Encantada”, by the duo VJ Suave. Secult's Integrated System of Museums and Memories maintains open exhibitions at Forte do Presépio, Museum of Sacred Art, Casa das Onze Janelas, Museum of the State of Pará, Museum of Image and Sound and the Amazon Memorial of Navigation. Families can also find programming aimed at children. Sesc Ver-o-Peso promotes recreational activities and theater, while Rádio Margarida presents the show “Dona Árvore e o Passarinho”, which addresses environmental education in a playful way. Belém do Pará seen from above Reproduction/Agência Pará Gastronomy There are lunch options at Casa do Fauno and Bistrô Café Club, vegan meals at Purão Vegano and contemporary Amazonian cuisine at Hun Caboco. In the late afternoon, the itinerary includes wines at Avintura Vinhos Finos, craft beers at Puba Bar and snacks in bars and restaurants in Cidade Velha. Music The musical program starts at 10am, in Campina, with “Violão em Chamas”, presented by Lucas Imbiriba at Complexo dos Mercedários. In the afternoon and evening, the Old Town hosts shows. Gil Martins, at 3pm, at the Centro Cultural do Bené; Pedrinho Callado Trio, at 4pm, at Boteco do Carmo; Bendito Carimbó, from 4pm to 5pm, at Nosso Recanto; and the samba circle “Fé no Batuque”, at 7pm, at Casa Apoena. At Pimenta na Cuia, singer Joelma Kláudia will perform at 7pm.
