The action began after a complaint that a car with identification from the State Environmental Institute (Inea) was being used to buy drugs. The Institute reported that the vehicle is private and belongs to a former service provider, who left the agency about three months ago. ? With him, four pins of cocaine were found, totaling around 30 grams of the drug. Afterwards, the police went to a point where, according to the complaint, drugs were being sold. Four suspects fled, but one of them was located after trying to hide in a commercial establishment. A cell phone and R$25 in cash were seized from the man. According to the PM, those involved would use the so-called "ant trafficking", characterized by the sale of small quantities of drugs to make it difficult to seize the material. The two men were taken to the Teresópolis Police Station, where they gave a statement and were released. The drugs and other seized materials remained in the unit. In a note, Inea informed g1 this Wednesday (29) that the vehicle is private and belongs to a former service provider, who has left the agency since May this year. According to the Institute, there was a failure to remove the vehicle's visual identification after the contract ended. Inea also informed that it has already adopted the necessary measures to collect identification and prevent it from continuing to be used.
