According to her family, the last time she heard from her was on June 15, when she left home without telling her children and took a bus from Maringá to Nova Londrina. The Fire Department reported that the body was partially submerged, tangled in branches, approximately four meters away from the river bank. The body was taken for analysis, underwent examinations and was recognized through the dental arch. The result was released six days later. On the day Eulália disappeared, one of the children tried to call their mother, but her cell phone was turned off. She responded to a message at 12:31 pm, but as of 12:46 pm, she was no longer online and gave no further news. "A friend of hers contacted me, saying that she mentioned that she was buying a property in Nova Londrina and said it was to keep a secret. She was buying this property from a friend she knew and had known for a while, so we believe she fell for a scam," said Josiane. The daughter discovered that Eulália went to two banks to withdraw money, a week before traveling. However, it is not yet known how much was withdrawn. Josiane states that her mother was lucid, was always very independent and never stopped giving news to her family. "Our father passed away very early, more than 30 years ago, and she always took great care of her children. She was always mother and father, so she sent us messages every day.
