The MPT opened an investigation to determine whether the reality show violated labor rights by publicly exposing employees and using their images for commercial purposes. At the beginning of July, the influencers participated in a hearing in Barueri (SP), when the TAC was signed. According to Labor Attorney Patrícia Mauad Patruni Isotton, the agreement represents an opportunity to raise awareness about the rights of domestic employees. "The agreement is the result of dialogue between the Public Ministry of Labor and the influencers, who demonstrated that they understood the seriousness of the situation and committed to repairing the damage caused. More than closing the case, this is a moment of awareness, including for the public", he stated. Under the agreement, Viih Tube and Eliezer committed not to produce or disseminate content that exposes domestic employees or other workers to humiliating or humiliating situations, even with the consent of the participants. The TAC also prohibits requiring or encouraging the participation of employees in reality shows or similar productions. If any worker participates in future audiovisual content, membership must be voluntary, formalized in writing and without any prejudice to anyone who chooses not to participate. In case of non-compliance, the fine will be R$50,000 per clause violated, plus R$5,000 per worker harmed. The compensation of R$350,000 will not be paid directly to the workers involved.
