Following the death of Chadwick Boseman in 2020, Marvel chose not to cast another actor in the role of T'Challa, preferring to expand the story of Wakanda while honoring Boseman's legacy.
Jonsson rose to prominence for his role in the series 'Industry' and has since starred in films such as 'Rye Lane' (2023), 'Alien: Romulus' (2024) and 'The Long March: Walk or Die' (2025). He also received the 2025 BAFTA Rising Star Award.
