According to the Civil Police, the driver of the water truck reported that he was reversing when he felt an impact on the vehicle. When he got out to check what had happened, the driver discovered that he had run over the employee of the company responsible for the work. The victim died at the scene.
The driver was in a state of shock after the accident, felt ill and needed to be rescued. He was taken to Rio Branco Municipal Hospital, where he received medical care.
