União Brasil officially named the party's nine candidates for the Legislative Assembly at the convention held this Thursday afternoon (30), in Cuiabá.

Among the acronym’s candidates are current deputies Júlio Campos, Sebastião Rezende and Dilmar Dal’Bosco, who will seek re-election.

Other names are those of the councilor for Cuiabá, Michelly Alencar, and the councilor for Cáceres Eliane Ferreira.

According to electoral legislation, each party or federation is allowed to present a maximum of 25 candidates, that is, the number of deputies plus one.

The Union now awaits the names that will be nominated by the PP, as, together, they make up the Progressive Union Federation.

The tendency is for the list to not be complete, with 25 names. The embezzlement comes mainly from the Union, which should have had a majority among the nominees, that is, more than 13 candidates, but only managed to gather nine.

So far, together with the PP candidates, there are only 22 names willing to compete for the vacancies.
