According to the Military Police, a team from the Fire Department was called and found that the victim already had no vital signs due to the injuries caused by the gunshots.
During the incident, the victim's sister reported to the police that, the day before the crime, a woman had monitored and filmed the young man with a cell phone while he was in a silver vehicle, accompanied by another suspect.
According to information provided to the police, the motivation for the murder was linked to rivalry between criminal factions. Witnesses reported that the perpetrators of the crime were two men who arrived at the scene on an old dark-colored motorcycle. One of them was wearing a black t-shirt and the other was wearing a white t-shirt. After firing several shots at the victim, both fled along Begônias Street.
The area was isolated by the Military Police until the arrival of the Civil Police and Official Forensics and Technical Identification (Politec), responsible for the forensic surveys. Teams searched the region, but none of the suspects were located.
