The action, carried out by the Specialized Robbery and Theft Police Station (Derf) of Confresa, had the support of the Municipal Police Stations of Confresa, Vila Rica and Porto Alegre do Norte in carrying out the warrants.

According to the investigation, people with family and marital ties were part of the structure, with roles distributed among those involved.
Operation Family Ties
The investigation began with a flagrant arrest carried out by Derf in December 2025, in Confresa, when two people were detained with portions of crack and cocaine and several cell phones.
The judicially authorized analysis of the material revealed that that retail sale was just the tip of a criminal group.

The structure included leadership, people responsible for financial control and drug distribution, as well as members in charge of drug sales.
The drugs were delivered to dealers on a consignment basis, with mandatory accountability, and payments were made by electronic transfers. The group's daily turnover exceeded R$4,500.
The members also took care to make police action difficult, using coded language to refer to drugs and constantly deleting conversations.
The investigations also indicate that the group used a property as a base for meetings and for holding so-called “crime courts”, informal trials in which punishments were defined for members who, according to the investigation, failed to comply with rules imposed by the organization itself.
Violent crimes recorded in the region, possibly linked to these decisions, are the subject of investigation in a specific procedure conducted by the Confresa Municipal Police Station, with sharing of evidence authorized by the Court.
